In the past couple of years you have probably heard a lot about the importance of UX (User Experience) Design, but do you actually know what this it’s all about?

They’re many concepts and ideas associated with user experience, such as User Interface design (UI) and usability, so it is very easy to get confused about each concept’s actual meaning.

User experience design is a very complex process that involves different activities, such as product development, branding, design, usability and function, all with the purpose of creating meaningful and relevant experiences for the user.

It is, therefore, important to remember that user experience is not just one thing, but a series of activities that begin even before the device or product reaches the consumer’s hands.

In our current digital culture, most of the times our first approach to a brand is through a mobile app or website. If we do not have a good digital experience, our opinion of the brand will be forever altered.

Design, atmosphere, speed, and problem resolution are all pillars of a great consumer experience, and these same concepts contribute to their digital experience as well.

What is User Experience (UX) design?

To improve user experience, it is necessary to apply a good strategy, and this strategy MUST take into account digital marketing techniques. To achieve this, we have 5 recommendations to help you improve your brand’s user experience:

As you can see, there is not a single definition of a good user experience. In order to achieve this, you must take into consideration many factors and elements.

But as a good rule of thumb, you could say that a good user experience is one that meets a particular user’s needs in the specific context where he or she uses the product.
